The Maramures Young People's Trust (MYPT) is an educational and employment charity working in Romania - UK Charity No: 1091770. Our aim is to help disadvantaged young people into decent employment, which is done by giving practical support for work experience schemes set up in partnership with local employers.

We work in close co-operation with other charities to ensure that those taking part in the schemes receive full and individual support. For some, work placements are not always suitable and, if possible, we organise sponsorships to help someone through higher or further education.

Being a Registered Charity means that the Charity Commission of England and Wales has approved the work of MYPT as being charitable. It also means that our accounts are checked annually and our governing documents are open to inspection by anyone wishing to view them.

MYPT is a membership charity which means that those who wish to support our aims and objectives can:

  •  become a member;
  •  receive regular newsletters, and
  •  attend the Annual General Meeting.

Financial Donations
If you would like to make a 'one off' donation to MYPT or maybe take out a monthly Standing Order from as little as £2, please contact us giving your full name and address so we may post you the necessary form. We will put you on our mailing list so that you will receive regular newsletters to inform you of the Charity's progress. By making a commitment to give regularly you will become a member of MYPT and will be able to attend the Annual General Meeting. Being a UK Registered Charity, the added bonus is MYPT can claim back tax on donations given this way.
